NOVEMBER 13 - 19, 2011
Bullying Awareness Week is a week in which we, as a community, need to recognize and reflect on the bullying experiences in our community.
What is it?
It's an opportunity to:
-
become educated about what bullying is - the different kinds, where it happens, who it's happening to
-
become involved in the situation by knowing the situation exists
-
work together on preventing bullying in our schools, our homes and our communities;
-
discuss bullying with those around you, asking questions and finding out how you can help
-
know it happens all around us - in our schools, our homes, our playgrounds, our workplaces, our buses, our cars, our communities.
STAY TUNED!
Please visit us soon for a list of ideas you can do at home, in your schools and in our communities to promote awareness!
VIDEOS
In our experiences, videos are a powerful way to inspire action. These videos were created by our Youth Advisory Committee and are used to illustrate what bullying prevention is to them, and what they're doing about it.

Feel free to view these videos, or share them with others, and ask yourselves these questions:
- What does bullying prevention mean to me?
- What can I be doing to help prevent bullying in my school, home and community?
